Sure! snowy weather is adorable )) Also, her voice and his skill. *_* ))
Elijah grabbed his own brown trench coat before exiting completely, frowning a bit at the chilly weather. He paused for a moment, sniffling out of habit as his nose turned a pale red color, as were his cheeks. He offered her a look, and nodded his head eventually, continuing down the path. "I remember him going this way- but after that, I don't know..." his voice trailed off as he eyed her, and the young, usually grouchy man tilted his head to one side. "Caroline- if something is bothering you..."

"Hmm?" She snapped her attention back to him rather than up at the white clouds now raining down small crystal flakes or winter. She digested what he said and blushed, embarrassed he had thought something was wrong, although in a way there was. "Just tired is all." She slouched as she walked. Aren't vampires not supposed to feel cold? If so that is not true as Caroline felt like an icicle right then walking in the slowly becoming snow covered path.

Elijah nodded, rubbing his thin fingers together with a frown. His breath alone had turned to cool white steam with every sigh, and he wrapped his arms around themselves with the chilled air. He was a sickly sort of fellow, and could already feel the weather getting to him. Desperate to get into conversation, and hoping to remain cordial with this girl, the young man continued talking. "So- you and Chris..." he gave a very soft half-smile, not a big one at all. As said before- the last thing Elijah was is a smiler.

She shot him a quick glare then her face softened into a smile. "You could say the age difference was too much for him. In both ways. I will outlive him, but never will I be older than him." Her head was down now, and her eyes closed. "Pointless to try and love someone when all they do is push them self away." She bit her lip in pure bitterness of the moment.

Elijah gave her a sort of shrug as well, his light brown eyes flitting to the area ahead of them, which was now caked in a fresh layer of white, untouched snow. It was beautiful, but chilly- and with a quick second, he was reminded of his nostalgia of being back at home with such weather. Now he was with his new home, and with these people, he reminded himself the scene didn't need to be any less beautiful. "Touche." he agreed, breathing out chilly air. "Harley, too. She ran off to be with the vampire- but how could you blame her?" Realizing it was a dead-end statement, he shook his head, biting his lip as he admitted to how much he adorned the young woman. She's so beautiful and so out of reach. How is that fair? He glanced at Caroline, suddenly very thankful for their more stable friendship. "But you and Chris... I'm sure something could work. Like the capulets and the montagues- things always settle as they should in the end." Romeo and Juliet died in the end. Shit. Bad analogy. "Ehh, the point is- he loves you, but I think he's afraid right now."

Excitement glinted in Karou's blue gaze as she stumbled over to Jay's side. Her electric cerulean optics pierced the darkness, the abrupt introduction to light stunning her as it sliced through the shadows. She assisted Jay with whatever he needed, though frigid, crisp scent of snow recognizable to her as the first flake drifted down through the gaping hole in the ceiling. "Let's get out of here," she said, voice hardened with strain, though the determination that fueled it present in the undertone and the fire brimming within her eyes. She struggled to hoist herself up, depending solely on the sturdiness of the unsturdy pile of shattered stone.

Haha your very welcome ^^ He's quite a cutie :0 ))
Caroline wished she could comfort her friend about Harley. She opened her mouth but shut it and looked down at her feet. She heard his words again and breathed out slowly. Snow now speckled her hair and clothing, as she looked up to him with her blind glassy eyes. "I think we both are doomed to love those who do not love us back." Her words were harsh, but held her feelings behind them. "I'm beginning to think I no longer wish to love anyone." How could I? She almost wept at the fact she did not deserve to have his pity.

Heeeyyyy clove 8D )) they should find jay and karou soon what ))
Elijah let her words sit in the air bluntly, the pit of his stomach twisting at the inevitable fact that the sweet redhead would never gaze into his eyes longingly, or kiss him again in such a world. She was right- it was their fate. What came next, he shook his head quickly at, though- seemingly more hopeful than before. "Love is a funny thing." he attempted to comfort her, glaring at the sky as a piece of snowflake fell into his eye. After a period of blinking and a mumbled curse, he continued on embarrassingly, a bit flustered at the fact that his quote's moment was destroyed. Oh well. "Eh- Funny thing, right. Anyways- it can come in many different forms. You can love a lot of people without loving them romantically. That's whats good about the feeling- it's no dead-end."
Jay nodded, and helped push her out, and afterwards climbed out himself. To be honest, he had hoped originally that they would be greeted by a warm sun after being trapped in the cool, damp caverns. Instead, however, a wet plushness came upon him, pricking coldly at the nips of his fingers. It took a couple moments for his eyes to adjust, but when he did, he realized that it was, indeed, snowing. A bit of a silly smile formed over his mouth, his eyes brightening as if he were young again. "Karou..." he glanced over at her. Jay could give one of those expressions where you could tell everything that came out was genuine- he held nothing but truth in his smile, and when he did, it made everything seem complete. "I almost forgot how beautiful you are."

Caroline shrugged off his words of comfort. She was not in the mood to be happy. She stuck out her hand and felt the snow flakes brush giants her fingertips. The flakes were thick and falling heavily, almost coating the forest with a foggy-likeness but white and cool to the touch. She stopped for a moment and almost thought about- what was it? Was that the reason she had come? She shook her head as if to rid of the flakes that had fallen and nestled in her hair, but it was truly because of other things.

Karou observed the young man, her relieve smile deteriorating behind an expression of mock offense. "Jay! How could one not recall such beauty as mine?" Laced with sarcasm, her voice hosted a lighthearted, playful element. The young Super grinned up at the crisp grey sky, leaving tracks in the fine layer of snow which cloaked the singed forest floor.

Jay grinned at Karou, kissing her quickly before falling back against the soft chilliness of the snow below him, a pleasant smile on his face at it's compacting sound. "Almost!" he teased with a wink, and turned his face back to the sky, little white snowflakes falling down against his flushed cheeks. "Isn't this just perfect?" JAY YOU JINX-ER
Elijah frowned, his sharp, light brown eyes holding an interest to them as it seemed whatever was on her mind was bothering her. "Caroline, really, if something is bothering you..." his voice of reason trailed off, and the young man found himself stiffening. "Wait a tick..." he turned into a skinny, long-legged Brittany-dog for a moment, his nose tilted towards the air before pausing, and giving a low growl. He hurried ahead a couple feet, pausing again as a human as he gestured for her to hurry over. "Its them!"

Caroline smiled when he changed into a dog. It was funny to think such a man like him could become something entirely different. She heard his words and grimaced slightly. She wished they wouldn't be able to find them. This would not end well. For anyone. It never did.

Karou smiled against his lips, falling back beside him when he'd pulled away. "It's about time," she said quietly, eyes skimming the thin blanket of snow veiling the otherwise dark forest floor. The girl shivered, the quick introduction of the crisp, frigid air invoking goosebumps and the like. Though the snow - and the cold in general - felt good on her burn wounds from the previous night. Rather than fighting the cold that seeped into her skin, she relished it.
