Izaya slunk down onto the harsh cement, foraging for her lighter in her hoodie. Flicking it out, she popped a cigarette into her mouth and lit it cautiously. Her eyes wandered as she breathed in the toxins, and then relaxed her shoulders as she exhaled. Her nerves slowly calmed, and a small smile escaped her lips. Curling tighter into her ball, she pressed her knees closer to her chin, and watched the smoke rise from her nostrils and evaporate into the air. Sitting in the dark alleyway that she was claimed her own, she listened to the nightly sounds of the city. Sirens blared past her, leaving a stinging in her ears. Sounds of screaming partyers and drunkards were now her lullabies. This was her life. Snatching a newspaper that she stole earlier, she read the accounts of murder and death in the north states, and her stomach flipped.

(How about Drac goes to kill her, and then theres a chase scene, and then when he catches her he decided to hang out with her instead?)

The time was running out once again. He needed to make another sacrifice, torture something, cut off somebody's limb. Something. It was all part of the code that he followed, a code that was meant to be kept a secret and hidden away from other "normal" people. Because it was the truth and they didn't want to reveal it. They wanted it for themselves and nobody else. Dracami made his way down one of the alleyways as he ran his hand across the grainy brick walls that towered over his stature. He glimpsed side to side at his surroundings to find some sort of soul he could do something to, but there seemed to be no one in sight. Perhaps it was his sunglasses that he was wearing; it may have been too dark with those on. He swiped them off his face and peered about, scanning every last turn and corner as he continued to walk farther and farther down the path. But oh- something caught his attention. Whats this? A small flicker of a flame quickly followed by some smoke? This must be a being that he could take away. But everything was practically hidden in this alley, so he thought to himself that it was perfectly fine to scoot in closer and observe the being before him before he made another move.

that name tho

Izaya flicked her cigarette, watching it fall almost ceremoniously onto her checkered sneakers. Smiling slightly, she chuckled to herself. The laugh was dark and mysterious. How did I get here? She asks herself, almost muttering it out loud. Throwing the newspaper down, she watched it as a gust of wind caught onto the alleyway, and pulled it like a dead fly into the oblivion of the city. The bright lights of the advertisements caught Izaya's eyes, and she squinted away from them as her hair blew over her face. She knows how she got there. She shouldn't have brought it up again. Biting her lip, she felt her chest tighten. Her throat closed, and she dropped her cigarette, grasping for her chest. The cigarette dropped into the puddle beneath her feet and burned out, creating a sizzle. Darkness swirled around her.

I'm so alone.

Obviously this chick wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. In fact, she looked a lot like a loner. Much like Dracami himself. Dracami never saw his friends that much. Even if he did, they wouldn't stay together that long. They had their own paths to strive on and their own sacrifices to accomplish. No time to chat or organize any sort of formal relationship whatsoever. But it didn't matter much anyways, Dracami preferred to be alone more than anything. Dracami decided to capture this soul and bring it back to the central home grounds, causing him to make his stealthy yet cautious steps toward the skinny female and pulling out his pocket knife as he was doing so. In what seemed like 5 seconds, he threw himself forwards and grabbed the girls arm as he pulled her up and placed the shiny blade across her neck, muttering aloud, "If you move, my knife will too." He began to pull her back into the dull and dark alleyways, away from the busy city and into pitch black nothingness.

Eyes widening, Izaya's eyes sparked with that of a shell-shocked deer. Her prey-like face then hardened into a predator, but she did as she was told. Biting her lip, she tried to form out the figure in the night. Glaring, she spit out at the figure as it materialized. He, that is. Izaya could tell it was a male, and no doubt she'd had experience with this. Many men had tried to force her into trafficking, as well as other fleeting acts. She had taught herself how to fight, and now, she had to bring out her fighter side. The cold, steel blade forced her to curve her neck back as an instinct, however, and she realized she would have to wait. The male had an upper hand - a very... dominant? Scary? looking man.

A blank stare was yet again plastered onto his calm and pale face. He made sure that his eyes were covered with his hair since his glasses were dangling off of the collar of his shirt. He didn't want anyone to see them if they didn't have to. They continued walking, this girl under very tight grasp, walking in what seemed to be downhill and deep into nothing. Until they reached a something. There was a candle lit chamber of sorts at the end of this "alleyway", something that looked very dangerous and very suspicious. The surrounding walls were dark and ominous, grey cement bricks replacing the standard red clay ones. The candles didn't looked aged at all. There were mysterious markings painted in a black substance around them and the candles seemed to have some sort of ever-flame. Dracami halted and pulled the girl to his side. A faint glowing came from his eye area although they were hidden behind his hair. He looked at the seven hallways in front of them that connected to this underground dome. Each of them went underground even more, and each entryway had some more black writing above it. A sudden chanting of words came from Dracamis mouth, all of which this girl could not understand. It sounded like some sort of evil language, most likely based off of German. There was no answer. Nor was he expecting one. Grunting, he shoved the both of them to the entry way that was directly in front of their vision and started another decent down into this never-ending alleyway.

At this point, Izaya was becoming horrified. Trembling, she turned back towards the male, shouting out, "Who are you?! I- LET ME OUT!" She screamed, clutching his arms tightly. Her voice was desperate and pure, her throat catching as it tightened. Looking at the opposite direction, she held her breath, trying to force back the tears that welled in her eyes. Glancing over, she saw the slight glowing in the young mans eyes, and goosebumps lined her arms and legs. Crying out, she couldn't take this any longer. She was always overtly sensitive, and probably one of the worst people possible in situations like this. Knees giving out, she fell down onto the hard cement and tears burst out of her, her hands digging into the sides of her head as she almost screamed out in her fit. "LET ME GO!" She repeated, her voice harsher and stronger, lingering with anger.

"Fucking Hell!" Dracami shouted as she forcefully collapsed onto the floor, voice cracking at the end of his sentance. The voice was higher in pitch than most men, and tended to crack a lot more often. He closed his pocket knife as he shook his head and stashed it away in his pockets while he bent over her and tried to force her up. He managed to do so but it was a struggle. Muttering various amounts of curse words and eventually giving up, Dracami shouted an aggravated moan and started pushing her down the hallway until they got to another room. This room was rectangular and looked like a very, very large bedroom. Only the area that contained the bed was lit, other areas being covered in darkness. As he finally pushed her in the door, he swung around and shut the door behind them so they couldn't escape. Dracami reached for his pocket knife again but felt oddly reluctant as to sacrifice this girl.

Izaya had thrashed and fought him the entire time, throwing herself this-way and that. Her crying only proceeded to get louder, and as she started throwing punches, more violent. Eyes closed as they stumbled, she screamed out loudly, "STOP! STOP! WHATEVER YOU'RE DOING, IM GOING TO KILL YOU! STOP!" Her high-pitched wails seemingly echoed through the corridors, as well as the room. Once they entered the bedroom, Izaya tumbled onto the ground and clutched at her elbows, trembling harshly. Sniffling and shaking her head, she ran to the only light available in the room. Jumping up onto the bed, she clutched at the wall and them scrambled onto the headboard, nimbly scratching at the walls. "IHATEYOUIHATEYOUIHATEYOU!" She screamed.

Dracami stared blankly at the door as he started zoning out, pushing the eject button on the knife and pushing the knife back in. Doing so over and over and over. Until he was just over with this whole situation. He threw the knife off into the darkness in the corner and punched his door as he planted his face on the door as well. "A kid. A fucking kid. Why did I have to get a fucking kid?!" he muttered to himself under the girls screaming. It was too late now. Dracami had to do something with this girl. He didn't want to kill her or do anything to her anymore, but it would be utterly idiotic to let her go off and run away to tell police about his whereabouts. He sighed out to himself as he tried to think of something do to. But he was still baffled due to the fact that he all of a sudden didn't want to kill her.

Once she started calming down, she fell back against the bed and heaved out. Looking over at her attacker, her shaky breathing didn't stop. Leg's trembling, she heard his mutters, and suddenly went on the defensive. "Excuse me? A kid?! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, AN OLD FUCKING MAN?!" She screamed, her terrifying screams now turning into a temper. Her cheeks turned red from her shortened breath, but she ignored her audible gasping of cries and shouts. "FUCK YOU MISTER. FUCK YOU!" She now jumped off of the bed, planting her fist between his shoulders, and kicking behind his knees. Snapping, she grabbed her lighter and turned, flickering it on. "TAKE BACK WHAT YOU SAID OR I'LL BURN US BOTH!" She shouted, her eyes blazing with fury, her electric-green eyes stained with the frivolousness of the day. Who did this guy think he was?! He must've been only a year or two older then she!

His eyes widened as he was forced into this awkward ground position and made little grunt noises as he was forced there. A sarcastic look beamed across his face as he looked at the flame and blew it out. "Calling you a child? That's better than calling me an old man! I'm only 15, you pleb!" he stated as he flung his back up and tossed her across the floor and grabbed his spare pocket knife out of his pocket. Dracami swung around and stood over her torso, leaning down and getting right into her face. He yelled, "STOP BEING A LITTLE PRICK!" as his eyes were finally shown through his hair. The hair was out of the way; it was perfectly clear to see how demonic they looked, yet royal at the same time. They were a golden-yellow color and had a very piercing glow to them. No wonder why they scared off others. His larger-than-normal fangs also protruded out of his mouth and were very pointy.

Curling up, Izaya's eyes shined in the candlelight through her hair, only half of her face being shown. Her eyes were wide, and were not only terrified- curious. Her eyes resembled a wide curiosity with everything, like a child's. Her mouth open slightly, She pressed her fingertips against the side of her face, grazing her mouth slightly, as well as a bit provocatively. But she didn't intend to do that, as well, this is just a bad habit of hers. Tears welled in her eyes once more, and as the silence grew, so did the tension. She was silent as the small tears fell over onto the side of the floor, and she then asked with a small voice, "I'm a... prick?" Her voice caught, and she then looked away innocently. She bit her pointer finger slightly, sniffling.

Dracamis eyes widened as he realized his eyes were visible and grabbed the glasses from his shirt, forcefully and quickly putting them on. He stood up and backed off just a tiny bit, but not to much so that she could escape. He snarled while looking down. "Are you trying to pull an innocent little trick on me? Why are you all of a sudden quiet and wide-eyed?" he huffed out. His demanding side was starting to show. But now that he started asking questions, he wasn't going to stop any time soon. Until he was filled up with enough information of course.

Izaya shifted a bit underneath him, and she growled slightly. "Well, if you hadn't been such a dick and tried to kill me, maybe I wouldn't have taken a shot at you." Then, she looked away and closed her eyes slightly. She seemed lost in thought, or trying to control her temper, which she failed to do before. She clutched her hands to her shoulders, looking oddly childish. "Look, just- just shut up. I don't want to argue with my murderer. If you're going to kill me, jut fucking do it." Her voice was grouchy and temperamental, but her body language showed fear and insecurity as he lingered over her. She had noticed his eyes, but thought if he asked about them, the answer wouldn't be something she would want to hear. She rubbed her red eyes as the tear faded, and she sniffled again. "JUST FUCKING DO IT!" She repeated, wondering why he hasn't killed her already. Something about hiss eyes revealed that he wasn't human, something she couldn't even decipher at this moment. Thoughts and 'what if's' scattered her mind.

His eyes squinted at her remarks as he started flicking the knife in and out of its place again. This was a terrible habit of his, but he could never stop moving for some reason. The hand on the knife clicked the eject button once more, and then moved up to the glasses. Dracami readjusted them and took a few heavy breaths. "Don't you think that if I wanted to kill you that you'd already be dead by now?" he grumbled as he tossed his pocket knife to the nearest corner of the room. His hands reached back into both pockets and started grabbing more and more pocket knives, throwing them out. There had to at least be ten more pocket knifes he threw out to the corner, and when he seemed finished, he turned his gaze back to the girl. "Look, see? Empty. Gone." he said aloud as he pulled out the insides of his pockets. "Now whats your name?"

Opening her eyes, Izaya looked at him with cautious curiosity. She watched him throw what seemed to be infinite numbers of knives, before he relaxed and said he had no more. Unsure, she scrambled out from under him and back to the bed, sitting in the headboard. [The farthest she can get from him.] She didn't believe that he wasn't going to kill her, and thought this was all some sick joke to him. "Why do you care?" She grumbled, crossing her arms insecurely as she turned her gaze to the thrown knives on the ground. Who did this guy think he was?

"Just answer the damn question. I might as well get to know you if I can't set you free or kill you." he immediately snapped back. Seriousness whipped across his face as he took a step closer to the bed. Sweat dripped down his head and off his chin, and he seemed paler than usual. He sighed and slouched as he began to say, "Just answer the que-" BANG! Dracami jumped up and looked straight at the girl, and then to the door. "Fuck, you know what? Just stay here right now. Maybe that will give you some time to think of your name that you are so protective about. Do not leave or I AM going to kill you." He burst the door open and shut it right afterwards, immediately darting up the hill to the main dome. At the top, Dracami was seeing someone he wish he didn't have to see right now. "Oh shit..."

Izaya muttered a few curse words at him, and then sat silently as he slammed the door. After looking around a bit awkwardly, she scoffed and laughed. "Yeah right, bitch. Like I'm staying here." She jumped off of the bed and darted to the door, opening it slowly and peering around. Checking for any signs of life, she then turned and ran in a direction - not quite sure where, because of how dark it was. Holding her breath, she felt as if demons were at her feet, scratching and clawing, and she had to run faster. Her breathing accelerated, and she turned and ran down a random direction. Where was she? She couldn't see anything!

"Who is here. I KNOW someone is here, Dracami. And they are alive. WHY ARE THEY ALIVE!?" the shouting echoed through the dome and the only lights that were present were the faint glows of Dracamis and the other persons eyes and the black, now bright red, glowing marks written by the candles on the wall. "DON'T YELL AT ME FOR IT, I DIDN'T KILL HER FOR A REASON!" Dracami screamed. His voice cracked again and he muttered "fuck" to himself. A soon click of a button was echoed throughout the room, followed by a violent slicing sound and a self muffled scream, as if the person did not want to scream to show a sign of pain. A shaky response was soon cried around the room, "Okay, okay, please...I'll do what I have to..." followed by a deep and rigid response from the second person, "If you do this incorrectly, you will be severely punished and she will die, you hear me?" "Yes, Victor..." Dracami ran in the other direction and used his great sense of smell to track down the girl, almost immediately finding her, grabbing her, and tugging them both back to the room where they started. "Do not fight me, I have done with enough shit today..." he moped. His grip was weaker. The sound of dripping from Dracami was echoing in the hallway and it smelled of blood.

Glaring over at Dracami, Izaya growled and pulled harshly against his arm. "Stop!" She growls, leaning over and biting him in the arm. Once they were in the room, Izaya pulled away from him and bared her teeth - there were no fangs, but she was thinking of anything to escape this nightmare. It was only when she glanced over and saw the red platter on the ground did she flinch, and slowly untense her shoulders. She hesitated, unsure of what to say or do. "Are you hurt...?" She asked, slowly taking a few steps closer to her attacker. Biting her lip, she looked up at him and worry crossed her eyes. What had happened to him?
