These are the general rules, like don't god-mod, don't power play, yadayadayada. You've heard them all in every other roleplay you've joined, so just don't do that, please. Don't control other's characters, don't make your character the one that always gets hurt, I don't want to see it! Trust me, I'm no perfect roleplayer and before I realized what I was doing, I did it too. It's no fun, it just irritates people so again, avoid doing it.

Now I don't want to be that mean role at lady that wouldn't accept your form, but this is a serious roleplay. It's extremely literate and if you can't handle it, I'd recommend you not to join. If you're younger than 12, I'd recommend you not to join. Of course, it's only a recommendation. If you think you make the cut, go for it! I just can't guarantee your acceptance. Anyway, when I say this is a 'literate roleplay', I mean that I want at least 2-3 sentences in each post. Also, spell out your words! If you're going to 'tlk lyk dis' for the entire roleplay, I'm going to say something. Also try to keep your spelling in check. It's okay if like, one word is misspelled but anymore? This roleplay is professional, lets keep it that way.

Ahh, here we go. Maturity sort of tags along with the other rules such as — if I reject your joining form or tell you to modify it, be mature about it. You may fix it and send it in again, but if you freak out and such, I will ban you from this roleplay. Also, it's ok to goof off in roleplay, but don't do it too much, okay?

Ok, here's another— I really don't want to hear the gruesome details about how your charries guts spilled all over the pavement. With action, try to dull the details a bit if it becomes too much. And then our next genre- Romance. This being a zombie apocalypse roleplay, I don't expect the humans to be horsing around with each other every second. But even Daryl got a little action, so when the time comes, use our good friend, Mr. Skip Button. Ok? Ok.

It's ok to have alot of characters— the more the merrier. But only make as many characters as you can handle and please do not make them all teenagers. If I see all teenagers, or early twenties (20-22), I'll know you haven't read the rules. I don't know when I'll stop accepting characters, because I wasn't to keep this roleplay relatively small, but don't make 10 characters if you'll only rp one. Also, I ask that you make one guy for each girl - I would like a balanced gender ratio here, so make a guy for each girl you make, and vice versa.

Spam. It's annoying, it's obstructive, and people don't like it. So? Don't do it. I understand the whole deal about telling someone you're online, or asking them to return to their roleplay, but if you strut in her advertising your roleplay, you'll get reported, as I have a thin tolerance for that. Also, I consider excessive chat spam. It's ok to have one or two pages of chat, but come on, any more than that? That's spam. This is a roleplay. I'll make a chat page if needed.

Requirements. There's not much to this rule, only that you meet these rules, and the criteria I need for the roleplay without a problem. This roleplay is fairly important to me. It's gonna be intense, not some zombies and humans dancing around and blowing each other's heads off. Criteria as in--this is an action roleplay. Not only will there be death, possible gore, explosions, and near death experience, but there will be little romance. No little side plots with a few characters, I'm not asking for love triangles, drama, or any of the like. Just a simple, exciting, intense, bloody 'The Walking Dead' roleplay. Capeesh?

I'm not asking you to simply respect me, but respect everyone in the roleplay. If they do something that upsets you, remain calm! Don't freak out— on anyone.. New York City. Formerly known as the city that never sleeps, it lost the majestic essence it once had. No more soft glow of bright yellow lights in the buildings, or avenue and streets bustling with people of all occupations and ethnicities. There were few human occupants now, the street housing mostly one, newer organism.
The dead.
Of course, there was that handful of living beings left, separated in the battle for power over the city. Those who resided in one of the FDNY buildings were referred to as the Renaissance, and those who inhabited the NYPD headquarters was known as the Militia. The Militia were the bad guys; so when Karou Chase was taken captive by them, she wasn't too thrilled. They intended to kill her and drive the Renaissance to war, but the opposing group knew better - Karou was a lost cause, no one would come for her. She only prayed for a swift end.
Blood caked her skin, eyes red and swollen from tears fallen long ago. Her hands were bound and hung from a ceiling in the room adjacent the arsenal, feet bound and tied to a hook in the floor. The room was cold, an icy breeze sweeping in and brushing soft strands of blonde hair out of her face. She was bruised, beaten, exhausted, lean muscles visible and slick with blood and sweat. She wore a white tank top and short denim shorts, legs lithe and sore from the fight she put up in her capture. Her calls for help had failed and she'd been silent since. Due to her binding, she suspected rather gruesome nature of death.

A somewhat short teenager leaned against one of the cage bars, rusted and slowly deteriorating. He had his large hands in his pockets, and an empty beer bottle is at his feet. He had watched the others beat the girl to a pulp, but he hadn't really cared. The atmosphere taught him that is he wanted to survive in this world, you must seek protection. H had become somewhat of an assistant to the assailants, fetching and gathering food in turn for protection. He wasn't one to be a follower, but he wasn't going to mess with there guys. Some of them have even broken a few of his bones because he hadn't found enough food. Now, one of his feet is twisted slightly more right the it should be, but his boots cover it. His ripped leather jacket and blue beanie are both keeping him warm. A slight snowstorm has started outside since the blonde came in. He hears them hurting her, and his guilt is pushed down. Survival of the fittest.

She gasped for precious air, eyes flashing as the masochist grinned at the girl dangling feebly from the chains, legs having failed on her multiple blows prior. "Hey, kitty cat, I could have a little fun with you before the walkers get y-" Before he could finish his sentence, Karou swung a foot up in a brutal uppercut, hooking him in the jaw and sending him reeling backwards. Fury flashed in his eyes and he jerked his head towards her. "No food, 48 hours."
"No, please-"
"Someone's gotta put'cha in your place."
Karou's cries resounded throughout the dark, cold prison as he slammed the door shut in his departure, massaging his bruised jaw.}
