Ferrara looked away and frowned. She stood suddenly and her voice was commanding, "Jay, you may not believe it, but truly you are a sweet person. I know it. Who was the one who comforted me? The one who cared. The one who loves truly another person. Jay, you may not realize it, but I believe the feelings that are new to you- you use them as masks. At least you believe they are just that. You try them on, see how they feel, yet you do not understand, truly the ones who love you back see past the mask. They see you, Jay, and only you. As you are. But you can't always go back to the comfortable feelings. Because you end up hurting the ones who truly believed in you and cared. And you end up making the old feeling more comfortable. You end up feeling hate more than love. But if you could try and use your other masks more often, Jay, you would no longer go back. Because anger and hate would no longer would be comfortable. And love would no longer be a mask. It would be you truly. And those who love you can see this- although not always clear, we can see you as you are. Please listen to me!" She was crying again by now, her speech over. Her mouth hung open and she ran into his arms. It was what she needed.

Elijah frowned, trying to come into terms with what she saw in jay. A strange sort of visual entered his head, and he grimaced slightly. Obviously, the young man had no idea of his 'softer side', so the image went a little like this;
Jay; You need a hug! O-ops i stabbed you with a knife ehuhuhuehehehe
Karou; You really do feel emotion!
He shook his head, waving the rather disturbing thought from his mind. Instead, he forced a smile at the two girls- a very, very forced smile. "How about when we get home, we can all get morbidly drunk together, mm? That sounds brilliant right now, actually."

Jay flinched, a little surprised at how she had suddenly hugged him. But he welcomed it- for the sake of both of them, and smiled for her. "I may not believe you, but I hear you, no worries." he hushed, and pulled away from her just slightly, the soft, frivolous Jay-like signature smile returning to his lips and his half-moon eyes. "If the choice was mind, this ordeal would have stopped long ago. I know I can't stop it... The hate- but why not we prove me wrong, hmm?" He slid out from on the bench, and stood, now facing her, as if they had switched positions.
"Lets go find Karou- but... It would be quite lovely if you came along, too." he offered a small smile to her- oh yes, he was a charmer, even when he only meant to be friendly.

And never will I be so selfish to think I deserve someone such as you. She smiled and began to walk, rifling her hand through her well kept quiff as usual.

Karou's face contorted into a tight lipped smile, though that sounded like an excellent reprieve from her current 'condition,' "Sound brilliant," she said quietly, blinking at the ground as she shuffled through the leaves, not truly putting any effort into anything. Filler sentence because I'm still dying.
Jay : I love you Karou! Oh, my bad, I almost shot you in the chest! Eheheuheuehee. Hehe.
Karou: I love you too!
Karou's face twisted morbidly at the thought [yes I'm putting it into rp now xD]
Maybe the violent, cold side of Jay was a mask and the compassionate, sweet, protective, caring, loving, perfect side of him was real. Maybe it was all real - or it was all fake, and he was merely the empty shell of a man.
Maybe he was bipolar - she knew a good mental facility and -
Oh god, she was getting carried away.

I say no (jokingly) and Elijah says yes.
It would be hilarious to have a polar opposite with him, but if they end up together, it all ends up on the rp. Basically do whatever you want. xD ))

Jay smiled to himself, a soft sort of light in his eyes upon thinking about the girl again. In the pit of his stomach, he felt a ray of hurt at their parting, but even more clouded was the idea of talking about her again. It overcame whatever regret he had, and the vampire found himself speaking more lightheartedly upon mentioning her.
"She has very bright blue eyes, and quite a wonderful smile..." he stopped himself, seemingly satisfied with the description. "Our meeting is, eh, a little regretful... But she stuck around, and I think she fell in love with me, too." He frowned, glancing up towards the sky at the thought. He wondered if she was thinking about him, too. He also wondered if she missed and wanted him as much as he missed and wanted her. But perhaps she is happier, and better off without me? He pushed the idea out of his mind, and let his simper return.
"So what about you, Ferrara? What have you been doing?"
